Terms and Condtions

Once you place your order, a confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you specified when placing the order. Your order is usually processed within 24 hours during weekdays. You will then receive a new email when your order has been shipped.

Price policy
Prices quoted include VAT for Europe shipping. Should errors in price, delivery-time or other circumstances occur does Martinsson King reserve the right to change this afterwards. On these occasions we will contact you and inform you about this. You then have a full right to either change or cancel your order.

Card payment
We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express. We offer 3D Secure / SecureCode which is a safer solution for you who pay by card. Note, however, that it is not possible to pay with Electron or Maestro cards as Swedish redeemers do not support online trading with these cards. 3D Secure is a technology developed by VISA to verify you as a consumer when you pay with your card on the Internet. This standard is also used by Mastercard. As a customer you get the opportunity to verify that you are the real card holder, which means less risk of the card being used for fraudulent purposes. 

Our card payments are handled by Stripe payment services who are licensed for 3-D Secure (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode) and certified according to PCI DSS. Stripe payment services comply with the banks' requirements for confidentiality and security certifications.

Klarna payment options
Together with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer the following payment options where payment is made directly to Klarna:

Pay within 14 days : Payment due date is 14 days from the shipment of the goods. The terms for paying within 14 days can be found here.

Account : Klarna Konto is an credit account provided by Klarna which allows the customer to pay off their purchases monthly with at least 1/24 (minimum SEK 50) of the total amount of credit used or in accordance with the terms and conditions approved by the cashier. In order to be able to offer a set of different payment options, we need to share your personal, contact and order information with the supplier of the respective payment service. We recommend that you read our privacy policy.

Swish payments
If you are connected to Swish, you can make payments that are deducted directly from your bank account. Open the Swish app on your mobile device and approve payment via your mobile bank ID to complete your purchase. 

Refunds
In cases where a refund is requested, this is done primarily by re-depositing the amount into a credit card or to a bank account specified by you. The repayment is made within a few days from the end of the case that caused the refund. 

Other 
Upon detection of any false orders or other fraud attempts, the case will be reported to the police. Martinsson King reserves the right to refuse any order.

Shipping within Sweden
Your package will normally be shipped with within 24 hours. Normal delivery time is 1-3 working days. Your order can be picked up at the nearest delivery location. If you wish to be notified via SMS when your parcel has arrived at your delivery point, enter your mobile number at the last stage of checkout. As soon as your package is ready to be retrieved, you will receive an SMS notifying you where your package is located. You will also receive a code needed to retrieve the package. The package is normally stored for 14 days at the service point. After this, the package is returned to our storage. 

Shipment to Denmark and the EU
Your package will normally be shipped within 24 hours. Normal delivery time is 3-6 working days. Your order can be picked up at the nearest delivery location or is delivered to your home, depending on how DHL operates in your country. If you wish to be notified via SMS when your parcel has arrived at your delivery point, enter your mobile number at the last stage of checkout. As soon as your package is ready to be retrieved, you will receive an SMS notifying you where your package is located. You will also receive a code needed to retrieve the package. The package is normally stored for 14 days at the service point. After this, the package is returned to our storage. 

Shipping cost
In Sweden, Denmark and the rest of the EU, we offer free delivery on all orders over 300 SEK/300 DKK/30 EUR. On orders under this amount, the delivery price is 59 SEK/99 DKK/20 EUR.

Always check that your shipment is undamaged upon delivery. In case of damage, incorrect products or missing goods, contact us through our contact form or email hello@martinssonking.com. We answer quickly!

Contact our customer service before returning any product. 

Returns of unused products.
If you decide you do not want any item in your order, you can return it to us within 30 days, provided that it is un-opened and in the same condition in which it arrived. We will issue you a full refund for the item or offer you another product. You, the customer, cover the return shipment. For this return to be valid, tracking number must be sent to hello@martinssonking.com together with the order number.

Returns of used products.
In addition to our return policy, we also offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for full-price products. This means that you within 30 days from purchase can return any product for a refund or for another product.
You, the customer, cover the return shipment. For this return to be valid, tracking number must be sent to hello@martinssonking.com together with the order number, and at least half the content of the product must remain. We offer an exchange or issue a refund for the item/s, deducting a 100SEK/100DKK/€10 handling fee.
For returns of purchases over 6 items, the handling fee is 300 SEK/300DKK/€30.

Unredeemed packages.
Packages that have not been picked up or received by the customer within the time limits of the carrier will be returned to Martinsson King. Unredeemed, returned packages can be reimbursed if the customer request it, with a deduction of a 300SEK/200DKK/€30 handling fee. We can also send out the package again for a 100SEK/100DKK/€20EUR shipping fee. Unredeemed packages are not covered by our return/satisfaction guarantees.

Privacy policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide (“Personal Information”) on the martinssonking.com website (“Website” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that Personal Information. Automatic collection of information

When you open the Website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This data may include information such as your device’s IP address, browser type, and version, operating system type and version, language preferences or the webpage you were visiting before you came to the Website and Services, pages of the Website and Services that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on the Website, access times and dates, and other statistics.

Information collected automatically is used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding the usage and traffic of the Website and Services. This statistical information is not otherwise aggregated in such a way that would identify any particular User of the system.

Collection of personal information

You can access and use the Website and Services without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. If, however, you wish to use some of the features offered on the Website, you may be asked to provide certain Personal Information (for example, your name and e-mail address).

Use and processing of collected information

We act as a data controller and a data processor in terms of the GDPR when handling Personal Information, unless we have entered into a data processing agreement with you in which case you would be the data controller and we would be the data processor.

Our role may also differ depending on the specific situation involving Personal Information. We act in the capacity of a data controller when we ask you to submit your Personal Information that is necessary to ensure your access and use of the Website and Services. In such instances, we are a data controller because we determine the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Information and we comply with data controllers’ obligations set forth in the GDPR.

We act in the capacity of a data processor in situations when you submit Personal Information through the Website and Services. We do not own, control, or make decisions about the submitted Personal Information, and such Personal Information is processed only in accordance with your instructions. In such instances, the User providing Personal Information acts as a data controller in terms of the GDPR.

In order to make the Website and Services available to you, or to meet a legal obligation, we may need to collect and use certain Personal Information. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to provide you with the requested products or services. Payment processing

In case of Services requiring payment, you may need to provide your credit card details or other payment account information, which will be used solely for processing payments. We use third-party payment processors (“Payment Processors”) to assist us in processing your payment information securely.

Payment Processors adhere to the latest security standards as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Sensitive and private data exchange happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures, and the Website and Services are also in compliance with strict vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users. We will share payment data with the Payment Processors only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments, and dealing with complaints and queries related to such payments and refunds.

Please note that the Payment Processors may collect some Personal Information from you, which allows them to process your payments (e.g., your email address, address, credit card details, and bank account number) and handle all the steps in the payment process through their systems, including data collection and data processing. The Payment Processors’ use of your Personal Information is governed by their respective privacy policies which may or may not contain privacy protections as protective as this Policy. We suggest that you review their respective privacy policies.

Disclosure of information

Depending on the requested Services or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any Service you have requested, we may share your information with our affiliates, contracted companies, and service providers (collectively, “Service Providers”) we rely upon to assist in the operation of the Website and Services available to you and whose privacy policies are consistent with ours or who agree to abide by our policies with respect to Personal Information. We will not share any personally identifiable information with third parties and will not share any information with unaffiliated third parties.

Service Providers are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. Service Providers are given the information they need only in order to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose any of the provided information for their own marketing or other purposes.

In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your user account, and your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred.

Retention of information

We will retain and use your Personal Information for the period necessary to enforce our Policy, resolve disputes, and unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law up to a maximum of 60 months.

We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. Once the retention period expires, Personal Information shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the expiration of the retention period.

Data protection rights under the GDPR

If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us. California privacy rights
